Channeler, Sound Healer, Spiritual Counselor, Writer

Gokhan, born in Turkey, is a healer who embarked on a profound spiritual journey. After working as a ship officer on commercial vessels for nine years in his twenties, he was driven by the emotional pain accumulated during his childhood, as well as a deep curiosity about his life's purpose and the secrets of the universe. In late 2011, he set out on a quest for spiritual awakening and traveled to India.

In the second month of his journey, he met Yuuka, his now-wife, in the town of Pushkar. Their meeting was almost identical to the story Gokhan had written and published in a book four years earlier. In the book, the main character, a hitchhiker from Turkey, travels through Iran and eventually meets his soulmate in India—a spiritual teacher and healer who plays the flute and wears a red kimono. The striking resemblance between Gokhan's real-life experiences and the story he had written made him realize that he was in communication with his soul and could channel his inner wisdom through writing. This brought him one step closer to discovering his life's purpose.

Yuuka initially served as a healer, guide, and teacher to Gokhan. She introduced him to Tibetan singing bowls and guided him to channel universal energies through sound by the Ganges River. The first time Gokhan played a Tibetan singing bowl, accompanied by his own voice, and channeled universal light through sound, he felt he had found his life's purpose. Holding hands with Yuuka for the first time, he experienced a profound sense of unity and realized he had found everything he had been searching for in her. On March 6, 2012, they spiritually married at the Beatles Ashram in Rishikesh and later moved to Japan.

Yuuka, a seasoned shamanic healer, recognized Gokhan's channeling abilities and invited him to join her healing sessions. She allowed him to share the insights and wisdom that flowed through his inner channel. Since then, Yuuka and Gokhan have conducted countless individual and joint healing sessions, held sound healing circles, and organized group meditations. Together with their daughter, Maya, they have traveled across continents, offering spiritual services in various countries.

Over the years, Gokhan has embraced various spiritual practices to purify his mind, emotions, and body, elevate his consciousness, and bring himself closer to the ultimate truth. He has participated in 10-day Vipassana retreats, worked with Ayahuasca and 5-MeO-DMT, practiced yoga, pranayama, and various meditation techniques, and engaged in fasting. Today, he lives his life in a state of meditation, flowing with the present moment.

Gokhan has recently taken a step back from individual and remote healing sessions to focus more on music and writing. He now joins Yuuka in joint sessions only upon request. Currently, they have moved to South Goa and are working on realizing their long-held dream of opening a sound healing ceremony and healing center.

YUUKA SHIMADA

Shamanic Healer & Sound Healer.

Spiritual Dancer

Yuuka has over 20 years of experience as a shamanic healer and bodyworker. She embarked on her healing journey in 2000, and in 2007, after participating in a Native American ceremony, she awakened her ability to channel the voice of the spirit, expressing it through sacred voice and dance.

Her healing sessions integrate channeling, clairvoyance, energy work, bodywork, and shamanic techniques. While she incorporates purification and transformational work using voice and sound as needed, her approach is not limited to these methods; she provides deep healing by attuning to the unique energies of each individual.

Having spent time in Japan, South America, and Turkey, Yuuka is now based in South Goa, where she supports individuals in reconnecting with their true selves and restoring harmony between mind and soul through ceremonies, workshops, and private sessions.
